Accounts and limits
Signing up
Section titled “Signing up”Sign in with GitHub at app.ctrlplane.run. Depending on how sign-up is set, your account is:
- active right away,
- pending until an admin approves it (during early access), or
- by invite only: open the invite link you were sent. Invites are single-use and expire after 7 days.
Your limits
Section titled “Your limits”Your home page shows what your account includes:
| Limit | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Control planes | How many you may own. |
| Controllers | How many controllers each control plane may run. |
| CPU and memory | Per control plane, shared by its controllers. |
| Network | Whether your control planes may turn on a tunnel. |
Controllers share their control plane’s CPU and memory as you set: give each a limit, or leave it out and it gets an even share of what’s left. The control plane’s API server doesn’t count against them. A controller that doesn’t fit isn’t started; the site says how much is left.
Need more? Ask an admin; limits are per account.
Suspended accounts
Section titled “Suspended accounts”A suspended account loses API access and the site, but its control planes and controllers keep running. Reactivating restores access.
Deleting a control plane
Section titled “Deleting a control plane”Delete on the home page removes the control plane, its API types, resources, controllers and data. It can’t be undone, so the site asks you to type its name first.
